Back to School in Eagle Mountain: Let’s Make It Safe and Special

It’s that time of year again—the backpacks are packed, the lunchboxes are filled, and excitement is in the air as our Eagle Mountain students head back to school!

Whether it’s your child’s very first day of kindergarten or their last first day of high school, this week marks a meaningful milestone for families all across our city. With that in mind, I want to send a heartfelt reminder to all of us to slow down, stay alert, and be patient, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times. New routines take a little time to settle in, and a little extra grace goes a long way.

I’m so incredibly grateful for our dedicated teachers, school staff, crossing guards, and the city employees who work behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. It takes a village—and Eagle Mountain has one of the best.

Let’s work together to make this a safe, happy, and memorable start to the school year for all our students, families, and educators.
